What is aging

This aging process can be defined as the set of changes that occur in the body over time and lead to functional loss and death.

There are two distinct processes:
* Physiological or “normal” process exclusively related to the passage of time that is manifested in changes in the organs and body systems, accelerated by the presence of secondary pathological changes or environmental influences.
* Pathologic: preventable process to reach final stages of life in the best possible conditions from the point of view, functional, mental and social.

No one knows exactly why we age, but is believed to be the effect of many influences to which we are exposed to throughout our life, such as heredity, environment, level of physical exercise and many other factors.

General guidelines for delaying the aging process

1. Include in our daily diet natural antioxidants to prevent premature aging of the cells caused by the free radicals (oxygen and nitrogen). This will be choosing fresh foods, better season.
2. We totally avoid saturated fats and snuff, and limit alcohol consumption.
3. Avoid stress, it is scientifically proven that is directly related to premature aging. And not only that: it can cause significant damage to nerve cells, and in worst cases death. In this case, our best weapon may be the meditation, with it not only achieve physical relaxation, but also a growing calm and ability to cope with stress.
4. Perform periodic physical exercise, better outdoors.

If we follow these simple guidelines, learn to enjoy nature and life in general. We will be healthier and happier, then we may be closer to retain our youth for a long time.

Practiced in the United States for several years, anti-aging medicine aims to slow the aging process to keep the adult from 40 years in a state of physical and mental optimum.

Indeed, until now, the goal of conventional medicine rather was based on the fact of keeping patients alive, without always taking into account that the latter could also be “locked” in an aging body and weakened by years. Moreover, medicine intervened too late and at the time, only when the disease is reported with increasing age of the patient.
