Christopher Tin received his undergraduate education at Stanford University and Oxford University, before winning a Fulbright Scholarship to study at the elite Royal College of Music in London, where he earned an MMus with Distinction, graduated with the highest marks in his class, and won the Horovitz Composition Prize. His work in film includes music for 20th-Century Fox's X2: X-MEN UNITED, Disney's LILO AND STITCH 2, and Icon Productions' ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE, which was his first collaboration with director Deborah Dickson. He is well known for his music for video games, in particular the celebrated theme song to Civilization IV "Baba Yetu," for which he has won numerous awards and received hundreds of live performances, including by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestral, National Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Buffalo Philharmonic, and many others.
In addition to WITNESSES TO A SECRET WAR, Christopher is hard at work on his debut album at the moment. Entitled 'Calling All Dawns,' it's a collection of 12 songs in 12 languages dealing with the universal narrative of life, death and the afterlife. Recorded at Abbey Road with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the album is scheduled for release in the summer of 2008.
